Endless summer

We’ve been blessed with warm sunny days and light offshore breezes this week: September is often like this and one of our favourite months in Gower. Most of the tourists have gone home – they don’t know what they’re missing – but Bryn-y-môr Cottage has been full and our guests have had the landscape nearly all to themselves.

This week we’ve also had the highest tides for a while and high tide has coincided with sunset. On Monday evening, we took a walk across the burrows and down onto the beach at Llangennith to witness the spectacle and see the surfers who had come to be part of it. I think the pictures by our friend www.philipgriffithsphotography.com say it all.

October is nearly fully booked at the cottage but we’ve still got some space for November. Who knows, it might really be an endless summer?

To book the cottage for later this year, or next, you need to be quick as it’s filling fast. Please give Rachel a call on 01792 386259 or email her rachel@brynymorcottagegower.co.uk
